Wireless Antenna's OUT OF THE BOX solutions XD

Anyone have any good reports on out of the box antenni ? I made a cantenna and soldered some coax cable to it, shoved it into my PCI WPC11 linksys card, and got a VERY nice directional antenna! I would say 8-10dbi gain. I've also seen plans to build a 35dbi gain antenna usinga primestar satellite dish...anyone heard the word on any antennas?

I've never used the homemade antennas before, but I have used some of the ones from Hyperlink Tech. Specifically, the 24 dB heavy duty directional antenna, the 12 or 14 dB yagi (don't remember which one specifically), another directional one that it appears they don't sell anymore, and the 15 dB omnidirectional.

Always got good products from the company. Only time I had problems was when the installation got screwed up (accidentally cut the insulation a couple of times).

yea, there's a 32db directional antenna on e-bay for a decent price. my buddy has it and he can get internet at the other end of his street if it's aimed right lol.
