Ok I have a Microsoft MN-500? router, I have had it for some time and it ran great a Very Good signal most of the time. I had to move my computer a couple rooms away, about 20-30 feet and now I only recieve Very Low to Low signal. My question is if I get a higher gain antenna for the the network will it still benefit if I have it on the network card not the router. The router does not seem to allow you to remove or change the antenna it has so im wondering if i put the antenna on the network card will it improve?
