Hi all, i have assembeled a new pc with a 3.2 Ghz dual core pentium D, and i have used windows xp 64 bit as my OS but the problem is that i cant get my PCTEL faxmodem to work. the XP64 cant recognize the driver. SO PLEASE i need help with problem, anybody can tell me how to install the correct driver for xp 64!!!!!!!!!!!

you need the 64 bit driver for that device. you currently have the 32 bit driver for it. if the company that makes your modem does not make a 64 bit driver for it, your pretty screwed and have to go looking for a company that makes a driver for 64 bit and buy that part from them, or wait till that company comes out with one. you can prob also contact there support and ask them when 64 bit driver will be avilable.
