i was wondering if there is a software that i can use to distribute updates to all the machines on my network

for example: a machine would pull all the updates off the microsoft site then it would distribute the updates to all the machines

ms provides SUS software updates services for 2k & xp. the client is configured to use automatic updates for checking the server. You'll need a 2k or 2k3 server to install SUS

soon they should be releasing WUS, aka SUS 2.0. Windows Update Services.

Depending on the size of your network, MS recommends using SMS for larger networks and SUS for smaller ones.

well we have about 45 computers

i cant get the sus to work my pc wont update from the server
