Why my remote connection is too slow?

I remote to my work PC, sometime it is extremely slow and sometimes normal. What are the reasons for slowness? Please help me. Below are the speed test when normal and when slow.

Download: 267,864 bps
Upload: 37,176 bps
QOS: 77%
RTT: 1585 ms
MaxPause: 305 ms

Download: 365,312 bps
Upload: 350,400 bps
QOS: 84%
RTT: 59 ms
MaxPause: 196 ms

Is it caused by the traffic at my work place or at my side?

either. and the traffic may not be coming from you or your office. you share the same line with hundreds of people. also, are you using a wireless network connection? their speed tends to vary sometimes.
