It's stupidass Adelphia Cable (4000/386) that's never stable and the speeds always vary and sometimes i get 2000ms pings on CS servers

Hmm...for some reason they don't have you capped. Or maybe you removed the cap which can be done with some services.

i didn't remove the cap, that's illegal

Sorry, your score of 511138 Kbps is over TestMy.net's max of 80000 Kbps. I doubt your connection is faster than 80000 Kbps... Please RETEST

i did a retest and got 800kbps....still wierd

what the hell!

the download speeds is screwed up for the whole san gabriel valley though (it's the area i live in)

edit: oh well...i'm used to this crap Adelphia puts us through..

I have adelphia as well. What is going on is they are preparing their networks so they can offer 6mb down and 1.5up to home users. In that process they keep jacking the settings around and it's effecting everything. I usually download at like 400k a second and upload at 150k a second instead of 150k down and 35 up.
