well you need a partitionable space so you can have an MBR, but then that will work. The machine needs to support USB boot as well. We have a few machines that we were playing with a bootable Citrix session on with a USB 1gb stick. Very cool, but didn't always work. so now we use CD's for that. Also use DVD's for ghost with the images. WinPE is really cool for that too as it has a lot of drivers for stuff and is very easy to get working. especially for network comunication.
