using File Maker Pro remotely

yes it would be different from the file host.

This setup will put your data files on a webserver. Instead of using File Maker Pro to modify the data, you will use the web interface (web pages on the webserver). the interface will prolly look different. you should read the web publishing docs to see if there's any restrictions.

the webmaster will prolly need their own copy of file maker pro...to keep it legal.

csamuels,

Thanks alot! I think you have me going in the right direction.
Using the web publishing would be the easiest but maintaining document integrity is not know (yet).

I'm still not sure if this is the way to go or using a file hoster is.
File hosting would maintain the integrity of the docs. but may be harder/more work uploading/downloading.

But one of the two is the way to go.

Unless you have anything to add, I suppose I'm on my own.

Thanks again
