switch the cat5 cables in the back of your pc. If that does not work start over.

uhm K tried switching, uni connection refuses to work if it's plugged into thatone..however it did pick up the laptop on LAN 2 and said the IP was not configured....problem now is, LAN 1 is gone so how do I re enable that? as in it's completely not there anymore..and no matter what's plugged into it..it doesn't get picked up

EDIT:

okay now it's saying the DHCP is not enabled..but everything I see says you can't use the DHCP thing with the ICS thing..so what's going on? I'm being led in circles and that's about it :|

EDIT2: after switching the cables back after it said I needed the DHCP crap..it's now working fine :\ so I guess it's okay for now....

thanks for the help hef and the first edit wasn't being cranky towards you..just got annoyed becasue everything i found on google was contradicting everything else lol
