if your hardware only supports 10baseT (BNC network??) then you will obviously need new hardware. As far as software, that doesn't matter.... The software couldn't care less about the medium that the data is on, you just have to be sure to have the correct drivers for the hardware you use, which isn't difficult to accomplish.

As far as FDDI, you would have to contact your local ISP to check availability.

You really need to present your issue more clearly and with some better grammer if you would like it addressed. The short answer for you is to get a wireless router, likely 802.11A or G, depending on neighboring wireless networks, and other interference... We would need to know more about the physical topology of the network, distance to devices, number of hosts, so-on and so-forth.

sorry for the lousy grammer,
actually, my school wish to upgrade its campus network from baseband-ethernet 10baseT to a RF broadband network,i was ask to give possible technology that can be use to upgrade it ,to the management ,so i wish to get some expert advice from the expert. Using star topology

For something of that magnatude, I would have to recommend having a specialist out at the site to get a proper estimate given, and they will be able to suggest the proper equipment based on what you want to do.
