I have two linksys WAP11's in my house. when I enter the setup pages for the two access points, I see a section for "AP MODE" which gives me options for:

1) access point (default)
2) access point client
3) Wireless Bridge
4) Wireless Bridge - Point to Multipoint
5) Repeater

My question is this: what should I set each of these access points, so I can get them to work together...to get the best range??

I know that if you only have one access point, you can leave it set to "access point" by default. But does this change as you add more access points??

Nope. Just leave them as access point default and give them the SAME ssid names. This will allow the NIC to access the closest WAP available.

ok.cool. i thought that one will sorta "boost" the other...if I changed the settings...

what are the other settings for, then?

If you network is large then I would consider bridging two seperate network segments to coordinate traffic more efficiently. But if you are using these for just a couple PCs or laptops then the AP default should be fine.
