Torrent software and sites arent working

Hello,

I have a weird situation; torrent sites and the program herself does not work on my computer. I have a home network, with Linksys WRT300N, one pc desktop and one mac-book.

A few months ago, the program worked, but certain websites did not. A few days ago, the program stopped downloading and I can not access any torrent website, or even download a new bittorrent client.

Can someone please give me some suggestions as to why this is happening and how can I fix this.

ISPs have a nice way of blocking torrent stuff, could be them.

Theres another post on here that has a nice site that will tell you if things are blocked.

yeah but doesn't explain if they used to work before. slim chance of them blocking it if it wasn't before

Try bypassing your Linksys router and connect your computer straight into your modem. If they work like this then you know its your router blocking it, and you'll just need port forwarding to fix it.
