I like to connect to Battle.net to chat online with my friends while I am at work. I used to have no problem at all doing this under windows 98, but I recently got my computer upgraded to windows XP and I have a problem. My problem is once I reach the log in screen. I do the standard "open uswest.battle.net 6112" and Ctrl C to goto the log in part. Now here at the log in part I get my problem. Each time I type in each letter of my username, I get double the letters! So my username is say, Bobby123 it comes up as BBoobbyy112233. I have no clue why this is.
I posted my problem at the battle.net open tech support forum and couldn't get any fixes for this. I tried copying/pasting and turning the local_echo off. Still no luck. Thanks in advance for anything.
