Hey guys, wondering if anyone can ehlp me with this problem. I'm totally stumped. I setup a network with one 2003 server and about 10 workstations. What is happening is that the workstations are spiratically losing connections to the network resources on the server (shared drives, printers, etc.). The funny thing is that there is always a connection (you can run pings and everything is connected. The workstations can see each other but can't see the server's resources or presence in my network places. When I access the shared drives I get an alert that says "The system detected a possible attempt to compromise security blah blah blah." Sometimes it happens to all the workstations and sometimes it just happens to a few. At times it even occurs on a single user account reguadless of the location. Has anyone ever experienced this before? What could be the problem?

I would run windows updates. After that I would see how much free memory I have on that server
