Sygate firewall won't let me VPN.

I have a VPN server located at my home and when I'm away, I'd like to VPN into it. I used the wizard to setup the VPN server on the server and the VPN connection on my laptop. I can connect to it, but can't get internet or anything unless I disable Sygate firewall on the server, then everything works fine. I tried to setup advanced rules to allow all access to the IP that my laptop is when connected to the VPN and it still won't work. Any suggestions?
