sygate firewall blocking incoming traffic

i have used the same firewall for about 2 years now with all kinds of modems and untill recently had no problem.

but for some reason it will block all the incoming traffic either thru my wireless or cable modem.
the only setting that allows me to get connection is "allow all" which is basically makes firewall useless
i just reinstalled fresh copy of windows and everything and got same crap

i donno WTF happened
anyone familiar with this problem?

I did a search, and it looks like this is a SOFTWARE firewall. What types of traffic and ports have you manually opened in it after the fresh install of windows?

Has it worked before with the wireless and cable modem?

If not, have you configured it to only allow traffic through a certain interface?

If yes, what changed since it last worked?

Incoming traffic is blocked by default, as it should be. What are you trying to host that requires inbound connections?
