Strange Internet?!

I have a Linksys WRT54G router that is gettin on in its years. It still works though and sends out a wireless signal and keeps my computer connect, mostly... Here is the issue. I turn on my computer and the internet works like a charm for about 4 hours. Then, for no reason at all, it will just completely cut off, the router shows that everything is in perfect order as does the DSL box. AIM seems to stay connected but when i load firefox it shows a blank white "
webpage" with no address or anything, i cant go anywhere it just stays at that page. Internet Explorer shows some sort of cannot connect window, i dont know for sure. Restarting my computer works like a charm. When I go to "repair" the connect i get a TCP/IP error. Any ideas?

REINSTALL! That's what I'd do in that case.

I don't think reinstalling Windows needed. Maybe a repair install, but not a complete format/reinstall. You may need to repair your TCP/IP stack though. Read this: How do I repair the TCP/IP stack in Microsoft Windows? Networking Forum FAQ - dslreports.com
