Should i confifure 2 different dc or two subnets ?

Dear all,

I have 2 deparment in a office where there are about 100 users. To disallow looging into another department or disallow file access of another department, should i configure two different server having different DC or is there any other way ? Pls help. Thanks

You could make two or more subnets to make things more manageable, and then configure them with different permissions. You could even make more subnets than two, depending on how much you want to subdivide permissions. Group policies would help with this as well.
