Setting up a wireless network

I have a Desktop PC running Windows XP. It is upstairs in my bedroom. I also have a Laptop running Windows XP ( i want to beable to go online anywhere in the house with out wires)

My nearest phone point is downstairs in my hall. I want to be able to acess both compuyters with out the need for wires??

yes it is possible if you get a wireless router and adapters for both ur desktop and laptop
it sounds like you either have dsl or dial up and im not sure if routers work with dial up, but if u have dsl it should work fine

DSL is getting really cheap there stuaz, you ought to check into it. Around here, they have DSL as low as $20 a month, which is what most dial up plans are costing. (aol, etc...)

Once you go broadband, you will never go back
