The "strict limitations" are the Fair Access Policy. Long story short, it states that from the second you turn on the modem, you are hogging bandwidth and they have full permission to cut you off. Basically, you start out at full speed, then gradually get slower and slower until youre back at dialup speeds (after about five minutes). Its supposed to reset every hour, but I can vouch that it doesnt.
If youre just going to use the internet for a bit of browsing and email, satellite is perfect for you. If youre going to be doing any kind of downloading, while dialup is a lot slower, you can leave it on for 48 hours and it will be on when you get back. My connection cuts out at least once an hour; its horribly unreliable.
