Well i have Direcway because dsl isnt available in my area i was wonderin if i could put dial up and satallite as my internet without affecting anything

Yep, you just need a modem. It wont affect each other because the wireless comes from a card. While the dial up works through the 56k modem.

Has your Direcway been very slow lately? I've heard lots of people complain lately about their Direcway systems being slower than dial-up.

I know that netgear sells hubs and routers that have a serial port. So if your directway goes down it automaticly switches over to dialup. Aexternal modem is required. I think its a neat idear cuase u can access dial up with internet explorer.

Don't forget the 3-year contract, and the $900~ installation fee... and Gafnab, if you ever come back to this thread...just wondering, are you talking of using those two things simultaneously?
