Where I worked if they didn't sign for the work you undid what you did so you don't have materials wasted. 3rd party guys are paid by contract but if you knew the secret you could make a lot of money.

Hear is the Link for the Info I've been reading up when it comes to Sat Dishes for Domestic Installation. I think that's the Link your asking for. Look down the Left hand Side, their is a Full Index for everything to do with Satellite Installations and even the Most technical Equipment is broken down from wheat I've seen. Also the Links go from the Links of the LNBs to the Wiring used in Domestic setups. Seems pretty thorough to me.
