Howdy doo chaps,
I'm at work at the minute and we recently rid of the third computer on our network and want now to directly connect the two remaining machines with a single Cat5 cable.
When I connect the two machines in this way neither of them recognise the connection? They keep saying the network cable is unplugged.
If i do run 'cmd' and then ipconfig here's what I get from the host.
Ethernet adapter local area connection
media state........: media disconnected
Can anyone help solve this conundrum
Thanks,
Gaz
