hello all,

I have a Linksys WRT54G router and ACTIONTEC router here is a pic of how its setup:

So my pc is upstairs and the modem and router are downstairs, can I setup my Linksys with my PC via Ethernet to connect to the wireless signal from the Actiontec router downstairs?

If so what would I need to do, the main reason Ifor doing this is I'm using a 64bit OS and none of my wireless adaptors work :( , I have this spare router so hoping i can use that and save me some money.

Thank you for any assistance

I'm pretty sure you can, just set the Linksys as a repeater and supply the MAC address of the Actiontec router. If the Actiontec router supports it shouldn't be any problem.
