router problem

i have a linksys wireless b router set up in my computer room downstairs and i have a network going with my own computer in my room upstairs. i seem to have a problem with my router constantly disconnecting for no reason. it disconnects all the time either when im browsing the internet or when im just sleeping. and everytime i have to get up and go downstairs to reset the router to get the connection going. what is wrong and how can i fix it?
