Hey guys I got a Dlink DI-714+ wireless router. And a laptop with a wireless card in it. My router has encryption (which I'm pretty sure is the problem somewhere along the line). When I scan for the networks it can see it. It says it's firewalled and not connected.
I gave up trying to use Windows XP on the laptop to connect and used the program I got from work to connect to my work network. It's called Odyssey.
I entered the SSID and the WEP. It says it's connected, it sends out packets but nothings comin back in.
So I added an IP filter to allow the IP of the laptop into the network. Now it says Limited/ no connectivity.
Any ideas at all. I'm sure I have to use windows to connect somehow, I just have no idea how. Any input would be great. I'm totally outta ideas here.
