Recommendations on wireless

I am having to switch my Net connection from wired, to wireless. I don't like wireless for a Net connection but I can't do anything about it. I have a wired NIC but, I need recommendations on wireless since, I will be connecting to an existing WAP.

Are you getting internet through a WIRELESS ISP, or it is Cable internet, or DSL?
You blurb makes it seem as though you are going wirless with BOTH the WAN and the LAN.
What make & model is your router?
Is the host a PC, or a laptop?
If PC -
Does it have a free USB port?
Does it have a free PCI slot?

If laptop -
Does it have a free USB port?
Does it have a free PCMCIA slot?

What is your budget on this?

The ISP is Verizon Wireless.

The router is a Motorola, I don't know the model.

As I pointed out, my mother had her house setup for wireless, in every room(that is what she tells me).

The host is a laptop.

I have a full-tower with a wired NIC

I have pleny of slots n' USB ports to choose from.

Right now, I don't care about cost. I just want recommendations.
