Hello. I need to know if this packet ratio is correct or is it off by a lot.

DSL (Routed PPPoE) / Netopia Cayman 3346 Modem / Router
1536 kbps download
480 upload

Here's a couple of pics:

When it first started there was always a difference of 5 between packets sent and recieved.

Not really, can't really tell from just that. I have more sent than receive sometime, thats just because of the nature of broadcast, plus the things going on in your network, it has a lot of explain.

Why, are you having network problems because of this?

Bro, there is no such thing as packet ratio!!!!! Where did you hear this. Predicting sent and recieved packets is like predicting next years weather.

really, when you first fire up your computer I'll bet you have at least half a dozen programs contacting home looking for updates. like your firewall, virus, adware ect. You also could have adware sending packets home. You may sit and send email after email to friends and family and that will make your sent go up. If all you do is search, click around and download stuff then your received will go up.
