Ok, so in my house I have a Linksys router downstairs connected to a desktop computer. The desktop computer runs fine. I have two XP laptops (until one busted) and both ran/run with the best connection as well. A friend who comes over brings a vista laptop, this laptop has full signal as well. However, I own an IBUYPOWER desktop (go figure.) and it does not get good signal. I have tried various fidgeting with the antenna on the back and the most I can get is three bars. Sometimes, the internet won't even come on and I am stuck using a laptop or someon elses computer. I am just wondering if there could be any explanation for this and if there is a possible way to fix it. I have had the computer returned to IBUYPOWER for a malfunctioned motherboard (go figure, again.) so I figured it wouldn't have been damaged in the process and the last thing I want to do is send this computer back again.
