Printer Problems :(

I have two computers and they are connected wirelessly. I can even use the printer BUT only when the computer that is attached to the printer is on.

Can i use the printer without turning on my main computer (i.e. the one connected to the printer)?

the computer that is connected to the printer is the one that is also connected to the router. (if that helps)

ONly way is if you have the computer connected to your network directly (via wirelessly or through a network cable).

More than likely your printer doesn't have this function, so you have to have it connected to a computer and that printer has to be on to share its resources.

I know you are, but your computer isn't. Your printer is connected to your computer, which is then wirelessly connected to your network.

You would need a printer with wifi capability or an Ethernet port. And if you had one with that capability you'd probably know it already.
