Print server Mot wireless G

I bought a Motorola wireless G print server and went through the motions of setting it up by plugging it into my router and getting an IP assigned.

My problem is the last step, I get an error msg "failed to save settings".

I'm stumped.

I'm using a dsl with belkin router wireless G.

Any ideas??
