Is it possible to "schedule" connection sessions with DSL?

QoS is Quality of Service it allows you to configure the priority some services have over others for example if you wanted browsing traffic to be prioritized over FTP traffic for example (or disabled altogether). In my router there is a separate section for access restrictions which prevent or allow Internet access to specified PCs at specified times.

Quality of Service.

It allows the router to block certain sites, restrict bandwidth to certain computers, etc.

So you can cut bandwidth to torrent, or put gaming stuff at a higher priority.

Really allows you to control your network.

Is QoS usually accessed through the Control Panel? (Network Connections, Device Manager, etc) Or is it a program that comes with the router?

It is build in and controlled via the router.

Just point your browser at the IP of the router.
