colud anyone give me full details how to network 2 computers running xp home and windows 2000?

got network set up it was shit on 2000 didnt work so tried on an 98 comp and it worked

but now the dam file sharing isnt working on the 98 it keeps asking for a passwork

if all fails how do u put an ftp server on one of the comps

i had set it up perfectly by my self if u think im a totaly noob

waring to others: number 1 windows 2000 shit for networking
number 2 beware of internal network cards they are shit
