Peer Gaurdian

i recently just installed peer gaurdian and my internet speed has been so slow that i cant access any pages. I have verified this because i disabled peer gaurdian and my internet access worked fine. does anyone know what the reason for this is?

Most likely Peer Guardian is blocking some content on the sites you are trying to visit. This causes your browser to wait for the connection to timeout before moving on to the next piece of content. If you want to use PG, this is one of those "side effects" you'll have to get used to.

The other option is to allow traffic from whatever is being blocked. Either temprorarily or permanently.

You can also set PG NOT to block HTTP. A good number of IP ranges are blocked by default in PG, and opening up HTTP connections to those ranges should give the appearance of speeding things up.

There is an easy option in PG config to "Allow HTTP" it's a big button on the upper right hand corner, I believe.
