Hi all!!

I have question about the working of OSPF. Maybe you guys can answer.

So I see that OSPF sends LSA's to spread information about the nodes that it is directly connected to. Next it uses shortest path Algo to calculate the shortest route. These shortest paths are calculated on the basis of the overall cost of the route. However, a router just sends the information about the nodes that it is directly connected to in the LSA's. That doesn't include the metric/ cost right. Then how does a node know that it can reach another remote node via route of cost 'x'. Because it knows the cost of route to its adjacent nodes only.

I may have overlooked something ahile understanding the OSPF. Help me please.
