Online Game blocks internet access. Need help.

Hi I recently reformatted my laptop.

I usually play my mmorpg along with surfing the web. However after I reformated my laptop once I open my game it my internet explorer can not load any web pages. I got a quick glance on the bottom saying dnserror. (same problem with fire fox)

The weird thing is if i close the game the internet works perfectly.

OS - Vista (however same problem with other OS)
Laptop - Toshiba Satellite

Anyone have an idea of what is going on here?

who is your isp. what router do you have. also try reseting your ie >

go to start go to control pannel internet options then go to adv then go to reset and reset the adons you may have installed> also check to see if you have a dns server set up in the local or wireless contection rigt click that and got to internet protocall and make dns server is set to auto . also might be blocked by the ports in the windows firewall. also might be blocked in teh router or router might have a dns server that is blocking the game. or the router is blocking the game. or computer is blocking the game in the firewall or open ports in the firewall
