once again a linksys problem help soon please

ok so i bought a defective wireless routor. i now have a access point that i bought today. heres what i did, i connected it to a jack coming out of a wall from the main 8 port routor in the basement. it finds wireless but it says i need a password. linksys being the company they are did not give me a defult password. so what should i do? where can i change the password? thanks

Default Username is admin with NO password.

it has to be 8 letters, that what i tought it was also.was i supposed to set something up when i got it? thanks for your help
