ok, cool, thanx, you see, I'm not exactly a genius at comps. so excuse me if these are stupid questions but first with add/remove programs I did that and it needed an administrative password (which I don't have), I called the person I bought it from and they don't have it either, they said someone else did it, I'm starting to think I got scammed and that this guy isn't gonna help with any problems. second how do I wipe it and reinstall the os, and what is an os? (told you I'm stupid...lol...) And third, when you say to just format and start fresh, and to wipe it as clean as possible, what did you mean by that? like, how do I do that? I know I know, I'm an idiot...lol..., thanx alot for the help guys.

put the reformat cd that came with your computer in the cd rom and boot up, follow directions
