I bought a usb network adapter with a removable antenna

and then I bought a hi-gain directional antenna

so I could reach across the 4 lane highway to get free starbucks wifi

I bought a strainer from walmart, cut a small slit in the middle and stuck in a USB wireless adapter. Went from not picking up a signal to having 70% signal strength.
