Odd networking problem

Have you tried USB in another computer? It seems as USB dongle problem (power or overheating).

Yea I tried it on several machines and it does the same thing just drops at different time periods.

Then USB dongle is broken, if it does the same on other PC.
Maybe if is possible to flash new bios if it has any

It's a little hard from your description of the problem to understand exactly what's going on.
So, as I understand, you have a PC which is connected to a wireless network via a USB dongle, and every few minutes the connection drops?
And if you plug the USB dongle into another PC the same problem happens?

Haha I've posted this up on eight tech forums and your the first to not understand what I put up.

Yes.. that is exactly what is happening except it only drops during a file transfer from that pc on the network as clearly explained in my first post.

I'm coming to that conclusion. It works fine just but when any kind of file transfer happens it randomly drops.

Is the transfer dying when the phone rings or when someone picks up the phone?

I am at a loss, Bird. Next thing I would probably do is just to monitor the traffic while it's "dying" to see what's going on. /shrug
