Newb Question about networking...

When I click on the following I can see 2 users that are my neighbors because of my WIFI. My Network Places > Entire Network > Microsoft Windows Network > Mshome > user1 > user2.

Does this mean that we are in a network and they can see my files?

How can I block them?

They are still showing up on my computer!

Is there a way to set up a Workgroup password??

log onto your router and enable encryption, that will get rid of them surfing your internet. Use WPA as opossed to WEP. No they probably can not see your files unless they are hacking your pc.

Also, just because you can see them on your network doesn't necessarily mean they're browsing through your files...but yeah, some kind of encryption or firewall software (that might be overkill though) would solve that issue easily.
