New Comp LAN Setup

lazerman, I've got a feeling that you need to find the drivers for your ethernet adapter. Me is a plug and play system, so it should have found you ethernet adapter automatically.

I would suggest that you go to Device Manager and see if the ethernet adapter is listed there. You also will probably need to check and make sure that there isn't a red or yellow mark on it if it is there.

I have it all set up and working properly, I went through the plug and play several times and even looked through the manufaturers drivers and still couldn't find the right one. I had to get on a different comp and waste an entire cd on a 1.486mb driver file. The file was 46kb to big, that kind of ticked me off but it got my comp online so now I'm happy. Again thanks for all your help guy's.
