Networking XP Pro and Home PCs

Hi,

I'm trying to network two PCs but I'm having some trouble. I was wondering if this was because one PC is XP Home and one is XP Pro?

No it doesn't matter if it's Home or Pro, it will work. But you need to give us more information. Do you have a router? then what is the brand and model of it? Did you check to see if the 2 computers were in the same workgroup? Can you ping each other?
