I have a windows 2000 Professional computer with all my music on it. My dad has a windows xp home computer, and i was wondering if it's possible to share my music on the 2000 computer with the xp one. We have a wireless router, and the 2000 computer is wirelessly connected to the router.

thats rather simple. if you have a wireless connection, then you can just hock it all up and place it under 'share documents'. that way, when your computers on your dad's computer will be able to access the music files.

1. make sure your computer is hock up on the network.
2. right click the folder and go to properties then share the document.

I'm not sure exactly what hock up means. More then ikely he is telling you to get he system connected on the network (make sure that that are getting an IP etc..) Once this is done you just have to share the folders, make sure that the systems are in the same workgroup and then just browse on the network and you should see the shared folders. You can add an icon to your desktop that points to the folder, and you will probably be able to point the media player that you are using as well.
