Networking with SP1

I am no networking pro, but i have sucsessfully created multiple networks. As a matter of fact I already had this computer working with my home network. However, I decided to format my drive, cause my comp was getting bogged down. This time I didn't install sp2, just sp1. Now I can't see anyone else on the network and they can't see me. What can I do?

By the way I'm running xp sp1 on a laptop, while the others are xp sp2.

I'm assuming you've run the network setup wizard.

can u ping the other comps?

what happens when u look for them?

so u can ping em but cant see em

maybe run the wizard on another comp and make that floppy then run it on ur sp1 comp
