I built a computer comprised out of spare parts (E2200, ATi 3870 3gb-ddr2@800) and i bought 3 WD 1.5TB Green drives for it.
My first problem is that it is a huge power hog unless i put it into sleep, but i networked a printer and the computer streams video to other computers in the house so that is not a viable solution. What i was wondering is there a program that can sit in the computers bios when it is in sleep mode and wake it when i want to watch a movie or print something? other then magic packet sender.
Second, is there a free media player that allows buffering over a home network (For blueray)
Third is that i can only manage less then 2mb/s transfer rate on my cheep wireless adapter that i have on the media computer. is there any way that you can run two adapters in sequence?
