networking

Hello, I have two computers and I only have one internet connection (wanadoo). I wish to network them both together but don't have a clue how to do this. Please can somebody help me out and explain how and what I am supposed to do. Thanks

Do you want to hook them to each other or get them both on the internet? What type of connection are you using Modem, cable, or DSL?

hi thanx 4 replying. yes i want to use them both on one internet connection at the same time.
i think i have a modem at the moment as i am using a broadband connection with a modem.

Well the easiest thing to do is connect them to each other with an ethernet cable and enable internet conection sharing on the one connected to the internet. If you have some money to spare get a wireless router to share the broadband connection. Windows should handle everything automatically but if it doesn't just look for an online manual.
