Network problem

hi guys i have a new laptop that i am try to lan with my desktop.
laptop is using xp pro
and Desktop is using xp home
now the problem is i can see the pc on my network but i cant access it it says sumthing about admin rights its says the same on both pc`s any help would be much appreciated thanks
