Network Priority Question

I want to test something related to using my old Linksys router (flashed with DD-WRT), but when I plug the ethernet cable into my PC, Google Chrome tries to connect to the internet through the Linksys (It only serves as an LAN for now).. How can I change which network Chrome tries to connect to by default??

It's not a browser setting, that's an OS setting. What OS are you running?

If Win7/8:
Open up Network and Sharing Center -> Change adapter Settings -> press the Alt key on your keyboard to bring up the toolbar menu -> Click Advanced menu item -> click Advanced Settings... -> in the Connections listbox, highlight your preferred internet connection and click the Up arrow to move it up in the list to take priority over other connection types.
