network pc and ps2

hi
i have a modded ps2 with a 80hd and i have hd loader. When i load my original games on to my hd using hd loader some games don't work. So i was told that there are patches from certain websites to fix the problem. When i read up about it everyone is talking about taking the hd out of ps2 and attch to pc then put hd back in ps2. Whew, what a pain. So, since the hd of the ps2 is connected to a network and i have on my pc a broadband router can't i transfer it that way?

well to me it's a network ? because all i want to do is transfer files to my ps2 which the ps2 has a network adapter and thats what the hard drive is connect to. I just want to know how to send file from pc to ps2 using a program or whatever.....

don't take it the wrong way
this is networking for ps2 players, not techies

A+ exams won't ask us how can we transfer ps2 datas to a PC.

you should really try to find a playstation forum that can help you out on this
